Yarning Around:  Choose a project that will challenge your skills or work on something simple and enjoy the conversation and company of fellow knitters.

Crochetin' Around:--2nd and 4th Thursday of every month beginning September 8, 2011--6-8pm--Learn to Crochet, perfect your skills, or just have fun crocheting with others!  Receive a 10% discount on your supplies

SOCKS, SOCKS, SOCKS!!!!  Learn to make socks by using double pointed needles, 2 circular needles, magic loop, or 9" circular needle.  Learn to make two socks at a time; make a toe up sock.  We'll teach it all!  Choose any "YARNING AROUND" day and time and call to let us know you are coming!  458-0048

Mitered Square Knitting Bag:  Thursdays October 13, 27, and November 10--6-8pm
Learn the technique of mitered squares while making yourself a great knitting bag.  (Smaller, purse size available as well.

Continental Knitting: Wednesday November 9
6-8pm  Learn one of the European styles of knitting, holding the yarn in the left rather than the right hand.  Many find this faster.  Also a great technique to know for Fair Isle or reversible knitting, as you can have a different yarn in each hand!

Felted Clogs:  Saturdays November 3, 19, and December 3--9-11am--Great project--makes a great gift! Learn the technique-it's addicting!

Reversible Knitting:--Come in and see our reversible baby elephant blanket using the new "old" technique.  The blanket has two right sides and the two colors are reversed on each!  We will start with a smaller project--either a baby bib, scarf, place mat or trivot.

Entrelac Baby Blanket; (or Shawl)--Learn the technique of entrelac (a French word for woven). Make the snuggly soft blanket that's on display in the shop or any other entrelac project you choose. Looks great as a scarf, shawl, blanket or sweater!

Finishing Instuction:--Picking up front bands and necks, seaming, buttonholes, etc all make a huge difference in the final look of your garment. Make it look handmade, not homemade!  Choose a time from the "Yarning Around" days and times listed above; call to confirm.
